Art Moments Jakarta Online 3 (AMJO 3) returns with a hybrid concept showcasing more than 1,200 artworks from 52 art galleries worldwide. The opening ceremony is officiated by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Sandiaga Uno on 9 June 2022 at Art:1 Museum Jakarta.
“Art Moments Jakarta will continue to take part in the art community, staying true to our vision, supporting Indonesian artists, gallery owners, art enthusiasts, and collectors, boosting their popularity in the international art scene,” Sendy Widjaja, Fair Director and Co-Founder of Art Moments Jakarta said on his opening speech.
The Art Moments Jakarta Online 3 will be presented in hybrid form, having offline and online events. The offline event will take place at Art:1 New Museum from 9 – 12 June 2022, while the online art fair can be accessed through www.artmomentsjakarta.com from 10 June up to 31 August 2022.
There are special presentations by I Made Wianta transposing the artist’s journey in the 9 periods of his artworks in his tribute, as the beginning of the education commitment by Wianta Foundation with Galeri Zen1. There are also works by Nyoman Nuarta, the legendary sculptor whose artworks will be on display for discerning Art Aficionados by Linda Gallery.
Museum of Toys, after making their debut in the NFT world through the release of Karafuru, will be bringing the web 3 experience to web 2 context at Art Moments Jakarta Online 3, throughthe introduction of Kong Andri’s real-life sculpture and presentation of sculptures from well-renowned artists, such as Eko Nugroho, Naufal Abshar, Arkiv Vilmansa, Flab Slab, Abiebi, and Redmiller Blood.
The Grand Opening event was also attended by Yuana Rochma Astuti, Creative Economic Marketing Director of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia and Dody Santosa Iswan, Senior Vice President of Transaction Banking Business BCA. The original three-stanza Indonesia Raya created by W. R. Supratman was serenaded by the Jakarta Philharmonic Orchestra Children Choir to open the event. The choir consists of children aged 6-15 years and is part of the Jakarta Philharmonic Orchestra under the care of Neneng Rahardja and Aminoto Kosin. They continue with several numbers throughout the opening ceremony.
Art Moments Jakarta Online 3 was symbolically opened by Yuana doing a brush stroke on a white canvas, followed by Sendy Widjaja, Dody Santosa Iswan, Rizki Zaelani and Monica Gunawan, Managing Director of Art:1 New Museum. Artist Mira Hoeng later finished becoming a complete painting.
Many art and fashion enthusiasts are invited to the Party at The Museum, a mix of fashion and art events organized by Art Moments Jakarta and P&N Studio. During this time, guests were welcome to explore the art space. While roaming around Art:1 Museum, guests were invited to enjoy drinks and canapes provided by Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel in a lounge furnished by Malka Indonesia, A special Kokumi Boba Fett drink, a fun splashy drink, an instant photo booth, and participated in Best Dressed Contest.
Art Moments Jakarta Online 3 is open to the public from 10 -12 June 2022 with a ticket price of IDR60,000 per person or IDR100,000 for a two-person package. BCA credit card promos are available for on-site ticket purchase with the price of only IDR20,000 per person and are limited to only the first 200 visitors. BCA Cardholders will be able to acquire quality artworks with 0% interest for 3,6, 12 and 24 months installments during AMJO 3.
