After pandemic, 56% of people tend to travel and do tourism inside and surrounding the city, 41% choose an alternative tourism spots that are less crowded to perform physical distancing. This trend is in line with the government initiative to further promote urban tourism in the next year.
Recent survey from Google shows that people’s preferences in traveling are also changing, people more focus now to the aspects of health, cleanliness, and safety as the main factors that motivate them to travel. This shows that there is a high demand from the community so that the tourism destinations can perform hygiene and health standards to ensure the comfort of traveling.
