Wyndham Casablanca Jakarta proudly announces the collaboration with Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay, Thailand, to showcase the unique flavors of Thai cuisine in Indonesia.
Chef Eddy and Chef Toi, with a combined 30 years of experience in Thai cuisine, will prepare to the Indonesian public a selection of the best Thai dishes from Monday 9th to 14th September 2019 at Cafe One in Jakarta.
The two chefs will feature signature dishes like Roasted Duck Thai Red Curry, Pad Thai, Som Tum, Coconut rice dumplings and more.
“The key to preparing authentic Thai dishes is to use fresh ingredients that are cultivated on highland soil in its native region. We will prepare all the dishes in the same manner as we do back home, so guests can enjoy the texture, presentation, and taste as if you’re in Phuket with us. Aside from featuring Thai Buffet at Cafe One, following the Gourmet Dinner Series, RIVA Grill Bar & Terrace will host a special dinner themed “Cook-off! Chef Battle Indo Vs Thai”.
Chef Deden and guest Chef Eddy presented a spicy 6+ course set dinner. The menu was available at IDR666.000++ per person inclusive pre-cocktail drinks.
To further promote authentic Thai cuisine across Indonesia, Chefs Eddy and Toi will visit key cities Palembang and Surabaya and showcase a selection of the most sumptuous dishes. From September 17 to 22, the chefs will stay at Wyndham Opi Hotel Palembang and prepare a buffet dinner. The last leg of their Indonesian visit will be at Wyndham Surabaya City Centre, from September 25 to 30.
