The 1st Peruvian festival has been set into motion by the Commercial Office of Peru (OCEX) in Jakarta .This event takes place at the Food Society of Kota Kasablanka from 16th – 26th of August 2018. An opening ceremony which will be conducted on 16th august 2018 marked the beginning of the festival will be attended by several ambassadors. The festival itself aims to introduce and promote Peruvian culture to Indonesia in hope to increase the awareness and knowledge about Peru.
Most people identify Peru with Macchu Picchu or Incan Empire, yet Peru has much more attractions you can find. The diversity of its country brings Peru to the richness of its culture and heritage. In line with the aims to promote Peruvian culture, there are performances such as Peruvian dance and Peruvian music. This festival also let you to try the unique experience to taste traditional Peruvian canapés, such as quinoa salad, quinoa truffel, potatoes with huancaina sauce and feel rejuvenate with Pisco Sour.
Other than that, there will be Peruvian superfood selling booth in the festival brought by the importers Nature’s energy and PT. Prambanan Kencana. In the festival you will also can buy unique handicraft from Peru. The handicrafts were made of Alpaca fiber which is a south American camelid lives in the heights of Andes.
Peru has so many stunning landscapes due to its geography that brings the country into one of the most favorite tourism destinations. The Peruvian Festival gives people a chance to find special promo and travelling packages offered by the travel agencies. There are four participating travel agents: Antavaya, Wita Tour, Smailing Tour and Dwidaya Tour.
