On the back of strong air travel recovery, more airlines are offering early check-in at Singapore Changi Airport to offer passengers greater convenience.
As of January 2023, the following 10 airlines are offering early check-in operations:
• AirAsia
• Air France
• Emirates
• Jetstar (selected destinations)
• KLM
• Malaysia Airlines
• Qantas
• Qatar Airways (selected destinations)
• Scoot (selected destinations)
• Singapore Airlines (selected destinations)
Depending on the airline, passengers can check in as early as 48 hours ahead of their flight. The Early Check-in Lounge located at Jewel Changi Airport offers both self-service check-in and counter-service throughout its daily operating hours from 12 noon to 8pm.
Once travellers have completed their early check-in and drop off their bags, they will be free to explore both Changi’s public areas, like Jewel’s Rain Vortex and transit areas that house a butterfly garden, various art installations, a heritage zone showcasing Peranakan shophouses, a rooftop pool with a view of the airport runway and more.
Singapore Changi Airport boasts over 550 shops and eateries, offering travellers plenty of activities to do right up to their flight departure time. To sweeten the deal, passengers using the Jewel Early Check-in Lounge will also get special perks to, ranging from one-for-one deals to other discounts at participating shops at Jewel.
Those who just want to kick back and unwind can look to the Changi Lounge, located directly opposite the Jewel Early Check-in Lounge that offers free-flow light bites and drinks, free high-speed wifi, private working areas, shower facilities and a snooze area.
